Meet Shirette

Hi, I’m Shirette. I’ve always wanted a career where I could work with my hands and create something meaningful. Being creative helps me escape the stress of everyday life and gives me a real sense of peace and accomplishment. Before joining this program, I didn’t know much about upholstery or sewing, but I’ve always loved color, fabrics, and design, so I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn. In such a short time, this experience has become so much more than I ever expected. For the first time, I can truly see a path forward for myself and my family, and that is the BEST feeling.
