Meet Nate

What’s up, my name is Nate. I am a creative from West Baltimore with a deep appreciation for vintage pieces, antiques, and historical architecture. Upholstery is something that has always intrigued me, and now I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn and develop this craft at The Cavanagh House.

I began the Upholstery and Sewing Program on July 14, 2025. Since then, I have completed the Foundation Phase and am now progressing well in the Apprenticeship Phase. My love for history shows in my work. I enjoy learning the story behind each piece and restoring furniture in a way that honors its original beauty and craftsmanship.
